440 TEAM GET LUCKY

Our 440 team started the season with a draw against Waterloo last week. The team recovered from 2-0 down thanks to an excellent win from Captain Neil and a huge slice of luck on Board 1. Will's opponent was the exchange up and pressing for the win but blundered his Rook and promptly resigned. It was left to Captain Neil to keep his cool in time pressure to secure the point and the draw for the team.
