BUSY WEEK FOR THIRD TEAM

The 3rd Team had a busy week with two matches in two days last week. On Tuesday they traveled to Formby and earned a 3-3 draw with Dave Pearcey getting his first win in 10 attempts against Bob Platt - well done Dave! Filip also won with Bill and John Mc earning good draws.

Last weeks 4th and 5th team double header saw us produce a win and a loss. The 4th Team hosted Southport A and came out on top winning 4.5-1.5. Ian, Phil and Declan all won with Will, John Mc and Bill drawing.

A vital win for our 1st Team last night, their first in 5 matches. They beat Hoylake 5-3 despite defaulting two boards due to transport issues!

After edging them earlier in the season, Aigburth 2 where looking for the double over Atticus 2 but ended up soundly beaten in the return. Sorry for slow updates but Dave P reported to me that the Third Team lost 3.5-2.5 at Fazakerley but to break the run of recent bad results in the club the Fourth Team won 4-2 at Skelmersdale.

The 3rd team traveled to Wallasey last week and produced the goods with a convincing 4.5-1.5 win.
Dave P, Dave A, John and Al all won, Filip drew and Rob lost.
