Widnes 1 Clinch League Title

Congratulations to Widnes 1 who won their remaining fixture at Waterloo last night to win the Division 1 title by a clear margin of two points. We mounted a strong defence of our title in the second half of the season but were undone by some less than thrilling efforts in the first half of the season. Alas, it is how you play over the whole season which counts and Widnes have emerged as worthy winners this season.
