FOURTH TEAM HELD AT HOME

Formby 3 were the visitors last week in what proved a highly contested match. Steve Korb had an excellent win, sacrificing two pieces for a devastating attack (Look out for Game Of The Month soon!). Alan forced a material gain and wrapped up a nice endgame and John Mc also won although I didn't see the game. Unfortunately Henry lost his game and the match ended in comical circumstances as both Bill and Will blundered good positions to make it 3-3 on the night.
