First Team win, Second lose...

In Division 1 our First Team got back to winning ways with a convincing 7-1 win over Formby last Wednesday while on the same night the Second Team had another hard luck story losing out 4.5-3.5 to Wallasey.
Hoylake 3 defeat Aigburth 4

Aigburth 4 have lost to Hoylake 3 in Division 4. New member Filip picked up a win but he was the only victor as the team went down 3.5-2.5. Phil Lavin, Will and Bill drew their games but Alan and Neil lost theirs.
Fifth Team pick up first win

After 5 straight defeats, I've been informed that the Fifth Team have picked up their first win of the season away to Liverpool 5. Declan, Paul and Neil won their games and a draw from Pete Webster saw them win 3.5-1.5. Well done lads!
Third Team draw

Aigburth 3 have drawn their second successive match in Division 3, 3-3 with Formby 2. They are now joint top of Division 3 but have played a game more than rivals Wallasey.
First team slip up

Our First Team have been held to a draw in their latest Division 1 match against Wallasey. They had wins on Boards 1, 2 and 5 but defaults on Board 3 and 8 and a loss on 7 squared things up. The games on Board 4 and 6 ended drawn.

Aigburth 2 pushed title contenders Atticus 2 all the way in their return match but just fell short of a positive result. Our Third Team have drawn their latest match, 3-3 against league leaders Wallasey C. Dave Pearcey and new member Filip recorded wins with John Mc and Dave Aldridge drawing, but there were defeats for James and Rob. The result leaves them on 9 points, just a single point off the leaders.

Aigburth 1 took the points in the all Aigburth Division 1 clash with a resounding victory over the Second Team. They managed 4 wins with the other 4 boards drawn. Third Team beat Prescot

In Division 3, the Third Team have won their latest match 4-2 against Prescot. Dave Pearcey lost on board 1 but wins for James, Will and John Mc along with draws for Frank and Phil gave us a comfortable scoreline. It is their third win of the season all by the same scoreline.
